When is your 1.5 coming out?
May 1, 2009The answer is… wait for it.. wait for it..
NOW!
If only i had a nickel for every time someone asked me that over the last week or two :p
This build is based on the official HTC ADP1.5 image. You should install the 1.5 radio from that HTC page before using this build.
Some of the important changes/features
- I’m now including a much better Superuser app, courtesy of zinx
- I’ve rebuilt the kernel and enabled netfilter support, to allow tethering.
- You can see/download both paid and protected apps in the market
- Luke’s multitouch kernel patch and browser patch have been ported to the .27 kernel and 1.5 browser.
- Support for the “apps to sdcard” hack. There’s not a separate “apps to sdcard” build. You can use the same build whether you are doing apps to sdcard or not. Thanks to haykuro for explaining how he’s done this in his images, so I can make my builds compatible. See here for a tutorial on setting this up.
- I’m not including a recovery image in this build. I ran into some snags getting all of the recovery features to work with the 1.5 recovery image, so I’ll forgo that for now. If you don’t have a spiffy recovery image yet, I’ve packaged up the most recent recovery image from JFv1.43 as a separate update.
If you are already running a “rooted” build (ADP/mine/haykuros/the dudes/whatever), it is available for download via the jf updater app (available on the market). If you don’t see it, open up the app settings, and choose either ADP1 or “All the updates” for the “System Mod Version” setting.
Or you can always download the update.zip file below and install it yourself. If you have a G1 and this is your first time installing a community firmware, you’ll need to follow any of the multitudes of tutorials out there for rooting your phone.
You can try to upgrade without a wipe, but if you run into any problems (for example, su/Superuser doesn’t work), you’ll need to perform a wipe. If you don’t want to wipe, take a nandroid backup before upgrading, so you can revert back to the backup.

I can not sing enough praises about this guide! When I first heard about rooting, I did some research about it online and kept coming across phrases like “rooting is for advanced users” and “you shouldn’t root unless you know what you’re doing” — so naturally, I didn’t root. I have NO CLUE what I’m doing!
But I was super envious of my friend @sesasha, who was running JesusFreke’s build, and raved about the performance and the fact that she could tether. When she got CUPCAKE on her G1, because of having root access, that was the final straw for me. I decided I didn’t care if I didn’t know what I was doing – I was going to find someone to TELL me what I was doing so I could do it!
That’s how I found your guide, Taylor, and I am ever so grateful to you for it because it really does give someone like me the ability to have sweet features without needing to be Uber Geek. (I’m just Uber-Geek-Wannabe, which of course, does not give you the Uber Geek skills. Just like wanting to be Superman doesn’t mean you can fly. :p)
So erm. I guess I was really just writing all of this to say thank you.

heey i love this build its almost perfect. jus 1 curious question abt 1 little bug i noticed. does anyone else notice that when ur listening to an mp3 on the android music player and u recieve a notification like a text message the entire soundcard jus glitches and ceases to work. u cant hear anything, not even the phone calls u make, until u restart the phone. anyway to fix this?
also, is it only me that cant adjust my in-call volume?

Works pretty darn good. Apps2sd works perfect. Currently have about 200 apps installed. Wiped phone to install. Big pain but worth it. Only complaints I have is that many apps are not compliant yet and crash and sometimes I have to reboot to download and install from market. BUT PERFECT otherwise. Just wondering if some of the issues are from an adp build on an tmo device.

Just to be clear, this update is for US users without ADP phones too, right?
If so, which of those links is the link for that?

Despite HTC stating on their website that it is for ADP users only and will not work on T-Mobile G1’s.

Big thx for your update sir, i have one big problem! I keep getting process com.android.vending force close!
I must admit i have just moved all to sd, incl dalvik! But i’ve never had issues with that ever before..
I must admit i did NOT try checking market before going to sd with data! Im eu g1 bought in germany, with a danish sim card (none t-mobile sim) on a t-mobile phone, its not a dev phone!
May 2nd, 2009 at 12:11 am
I just installed it and it works fine except for one thing.
Superuser Permission DOES NOT work at all and of course it doesn’t let me use the apps that require ROOT !

Same problem here. Su gives a black screen and after a lot of time it force closes, so no root priviliges:-( Problem didn’t occur with JF 1.43 (UK edition) so probably has to do with new SU-program.

I found that trying to reinstall the JFv1.5 and then letting it try to add itself to the superuser will “fix” this issue.
JFupdater –> verify and apply –> apply now –> update
This allowed me to get SuperUser working again for all apps.
YMMV
josh Reply:
May 4th, 2009 at 8:53 am
Thanks blulight, but no luck for me. I tried every combination of wipe/download/update that I could and it still does not work. I tried testing the Superuser list with JFupdater every time, just to be consistent, but it always forces a close.
Ippe Ziepe Reply:
May 4th, 2009 at 9:02 am
At first, Superuser whitelist didn’t work. Before wiping or anything, check that ‘USB debugging’ is checked in the Applications -> Development menu. Probably would do the trick.
josh Reply:
May 4th, 2009 at 1:55 pm
@Ippe Ziepe
You win! Enabling USB debugging did it without even a reboot! I guess that is why a wipe *sometimes* worked for people?

Yeah, something is definitely borked. I wiped to “Holiday” default factory settings, and they one kept spitting out the same error whenever I did anything so much as LOOK at the phone.
This update went flawlessly (although I can’t see “signed” anymore during the booting process during that main screen) with the exception of the fact that my menu REFUSES to go to the Sync Settings Screen. It’s affected my Contacts, Email and Calendar, and I can’t even get into Market.

Not that you have to explain yourself to me…

Well actually, I couldn’t get Wifi Tether for Root working with the new version. It’d let me connect to the AdHoc network but would never give me an IP or notify me of the new connect with or without access controls.

Are you SURE it hung? It took me about 10 minutes for it to update everything…
To see what’s going on during boot, plug in the usb cable to the phone and from a terminal/command line type:
adb logcat
And you’ll see a log of everything the phone is doing. That way you’ll know if you’re truly frozen.
(adb should come with the 1.5 sdk btw)

It will hang if you don’t have enough space in your /data partition to begin with. It’s better if you delete all the caches before doing the upgrade. Happened to me, after 30 minutes it was still in the blue android screen. After quite a bit of debugging with adb I figured out the space problem, restored my nandroid backup, deleted all caches, and retried the upgrade. Worked well the second time but now my Market and Sync Settings are borked. Any ideas on that?

Nice to hearing from you that you are back in game of the best firmware for G1. A lot of things has been changed since your last 1.1-based build. There is the Haykuro’s and Dude’s build which seams to offer more that your build does.
From my point of view you are missing the following features:
- SIM ToolKit (STK)
- HTC Dialer (from Haykuro’s H build)
- PDF Viewer
- HTC Camera and Camcoder (both brings more options!)
- more locales (Dude’s build has it)

what the hell? why would try to put someones build down.. for your info, this is the most stable build of them all, JF builds are always stable and awesome usually from the get go… He basically gives you the offcially releases with root/super user access and then adds things like multi touch… As far as the most solid stable build, this is hands down the best, the faster and stable and i have been on every build.. and always reverted bacl to JF rc33 becuase its more stable… Features arent shit with out stability… Show some appreciation, JF started it all

Chill man, chill. Everyone has their opinion
It’s not like I’m competing with hakuro or the dude for “the best rom”. Anyone can use whatever rom they like best. If there is some features that you want that mine doesn’t have, great! If all of our builds had the exact same features, there wouldn’t be much point in having different builds

I understand it that all builds can not be the same but at least the STK should be included in all of them.

If you don’t like the many options availbale for different roms and think we should only have one (by the way, jf’s are the best of them all), you should probably get a iphone or one of them windows phones.

I think the new radio contains a number of improvements. I’m fairly sure it has some significant gps improvements, and it’s possible that some stuff in 1.5 is dependent on it being there.

Haha, thanks. I applied the update after having upgraded the rom. Hope that doesn’t trigger a machine apocalypse or something.
Thanks again for the new build. You’re a wizard.
May 2nd, 2009 at 7:50 pm
The GPS improvements are probably due to the new support for A-GPS that reportedly is included. This uses the data connection to receive GPS init information from remote servers, and sometimes to offload calculations. Of course this also means leaking some GPS-related data off your phone as well, if you care. By not having to do the painstaking process of GPS init directly from the birds, the time involved can be cut drastically.

Ohh okay thanks for the info…everything works fine now btw.
FYI I did hear about a long first boot so I let it sit about 20 min and it was a no go. Wiped, reflashed and it only took about 2min. For the initial boot.

is it me or did this new rom take up more phone memory than the last one? after upgrading i deleted a boat load of apps that cupcake made obselete (handcent, steel, dansroid auto rotate,) along with others (YellowBook,BOA,and 2 gps apps) though i deleted all of this i still only have 28mb of space available. i only have 15 apps and most of them are no bigger than 700kb.

Can someone please explain how to do Apps2SD? I have the Apps2SD program on my SD card. I have this build installed. I have AppsInstaller installed. I have 2 partitions on my memory card. But when I run Apps2SD program, it makes the Android hang.
ALSO, is it ok if i just did a wipe and no update? I’ve been messing around with my phone (formatted memory card like 50 times and have wiped and updated like 50 times). The last time I just did a wipe and restartted the phone and everything seems to be working. Is this ok or should i do the update? Please help.

Great update.. Love cupcake and some of the options of the DEV build. Great Job JF!!!
One problem I may have caused.. any ideas from the JF/Android community. If I use my Plantronics Headset no one can hear me and I can’t hear them… even sounds from the phone are redirected into a black hole. I wiped the phone for this install but I don’t have the SDK installed on my PC so I didn’t push the radio update. Could this be the cause?

I just updated to JFv1.50 ADP1.5 and I have to say this is exquisite.
The window transformations and effects are very nice
The on-screen keyboard availability for any text input box is quite handy for small edits
The Spare Parts settings are cool
The entire GUI has had a facelift, looks much better now
The overall system seems much faster
System-wide auto-rotate is awesome and has its own effects
It lacks an IM app but there are plenty of those in the market
This is a very nice build and I’m sticking with it.
JF, thank you for all of your hard work, you are appreciated

I came over from the Haykuro 1.5r3 and I’m having trouble with my recovery.img. My modified JF1.43 recovery.img was overwritten when I switched to Haykuro. Now that i’m upgrading to JF1.5, it seems that I lost his recovery.img. I tried to flash with the img file above and it looks like everything was installed correctly, but I’m still not booting to the modified recovery console. I still get the phone plus exclamation mark (!) when I boot with Home + Power.
Any suggestions??

My yahoo email account doesn’t work in jf 1.5, it worked fine in jf 1.43.

JF, thank you for your hard work. I’m extremely happy with my phone right now.
To anyone willing to help:
Tethering works perfectly (so effin’ sweet!!), so I’m assuming I still have root. But I can’t telnet to the phone anymore. It was working with jf1.42. Does this mean I lost root or is it an i-d-10-t (idiot) error?
Also, please note that I’m following the same steps outlined here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=442480, which is to type “telnetd” at the home screen (which brings up the contacts), then hitting enter. Connection to the phone still fails in the telnet app, though.
To others, I have had no issues with syncing. The radio is solid, as well. Be sure to check out the new app “Spare Parts”!!!

the “type smth at homescreen” trick doesn’t work with newer versions of android.
Install terminal emulator from market, open it, type “su” , allow root access if asked from super user app, and type telnetd.

Download the radio image zip. Rename it to update.zip and put it on the sdcard. Turn off the phone, then turn it on by holding HOME and POWER at the same time. When the boot screen comes up, select option to update using sdcard/update.zip (alt-s, I think). Follow the instructions on the phone to restart it.

YOU ARE THE ONE! I previously went and tried haykuro’s build yet got my sd card messed up. Somehow. Tried yours then there you go no problem reading sdcard. Although haykuro’s did detect sometimes. Could of been just my luck though. Upgraded sd to class 6. I read other people also had other issues with class 2. So far your build has worked for me, minor touchkeyboard issues yet no big deal. Better though.

export PATH /usr/bin:/usr/sbin:/bin:/sbin:/system/sbin:/system/bin:/system/xbin:/system/xbin/bb:/data/local/bin
installing debian with unoinfs (Saurik method) creates problems. Instead of android software, it starts using debian. Well, term application refuse to start for example.
Sure it can be solved, but is there any advantages of using usual paths in front of android-specific paths?

And why it is missing? Perhaps because HTC did not build yet the packages for the official 1.5 firmware.

All the apps – both built-in and third-party – still auto-rotate, so it’s very odd. As far as I can tell, just the desktop and the login sceen don’t auto-rotate now. I could live with that, but would like to know if anyone else has seen this happen. I’ve tried rebooting several times.

Unless they’ve updated it in the last 10 minutes, DroidSans rotate settings doesn’t work with 1.5 (gives a “Bad Version” when trying to use it for that).
Also, at least one comment on droidsan requested it to work on the home page for 1.5, so I know I’m not the only one who noticed this issue.

I went from JF 1.43 -> Haykuro 1.5 -> JF 1.5 and didn’t lose any data/settings…however, Haykuro and JF ran EXTREMELY slowly and I also had the superuser app errors (black screen/force close). I wiped my data today and I’m happy to say that my phone is back as fast as it used to be and the superuser app works perfectly again. This is a warning to all…wipe your data when upgrading or changing roms!!

Ok, I am going to post this cause I have gone everywhere and cannot figure it out. No matter what I try and do I cannot get my radio to update. I know my phone has root access because I can install all of the updates and they work just fine. But the radio remains at 1.22.12.29. I have tried installing directly after backing up to RC29 and after installing a JFUpdate. I have tried wiping before installing but it won’t take. It goes through the whole process and I pres Home and Back to reset and it shows the Arrow pointing to the Memory picture. Do I need to install the SDK to my computer and push the radio update? If anyone is willing to help me I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks JF for your great work, donations on its way.

You need to be at Jf rc33 and from there you update the redio by formating the sd card copying the file there with the radio. put the file in the root of sd card and then rename the file update. shut phone off turn oh holding home in bootloader press alt s. NO need for alt w only time you do a wipe is when you install the 1.5 cupcake update after.
Jay-R Reply:
May 5th, 2009 at 2:43 pm
after you pressed home and back just wait for it then it will reboot and go back to recovery and just press home and back again. Just wait for the process don’t cancel it it takes time
May 5th, 2009 at 12:21 pm
@Nichaseous you need to flash the radio before the JFUpdate.
Copy it from the HTC site, rename it to update.zip on your sdcard, reboot into recovery mode (SEND + HOME), ALT +L to show menu, ALT + S to flash… reboot.
then copy JFUpdate to sdcard as update.zip, and do the same, but before flashing you might need to wipe… you can skip wiping, but if after a flash it hangs at the boot loader you’ll need to wipe. Hope this helps.

I like the Cupcake keyboard even better than the iPhone keyboard. I’m really loving this update. Thanks JF.
If it helps anyone, when I first booted in to 1.5 all of my contacts were missing, to fix this is just went to Data Synchronization, unchecked Auto-Sync, and then re-checked it.

I downloaded the jf 1.5cupcake and its awsome. My only question is what is the second one. the Build Environment file. I know its not a zip file so its not to flash what is it for? How do you install it?

Kudos and applause to JF!
I’m ready to get JF1.5 and to root my G-1. I just now went here to get the radio image: http://www.htc.com/www/support/android/adp.html.
However, none of the links are working for me. I have javascript enabled on my browser, but all of these links, including the one for the radio image, just give do-nothing responses. I tried four different browsers, and all give the same, do-nothing results when I click on the links.
Do I have to be registered somewhere in order for these links to yield results?
Or can I just forget about this radio image by rooting my G-1 to RC-29 and then using JFUpdater to get the latest 1.5 system _including_ the radio part?
Thanks.

You did in fact free up space; however, it is on your System Partition and you want to free up your Data Partition.
Try google ing sdsplitter, its on xda website.
I used it to partition my class 2 sdcard and I moved most of my Data Partition to it.
Running better than before and I have 69MB free!
the big difference maker is moving Dalvik-Cache.
Good Luck!

Ok guys, bear with me cause I am a bit new to all of this…
I want the 1.5 update by JF (thx btw), but it seems that around half of the people that install it are having problems. I really don’t want to brick my phone or anything so I wanted to know:
Is there supposed to be a more “installation reliable” version coming out?
I also have a question about the function of wiping the phone…does it only clear the cache? Will I have to make adjustments to partitions if I do this?
Lastly, I have the latest version of JF Updater and it downloaded the 1.5 radio update just fine. For some reason though, it will not download the 1.5 update itself. It just scrolls through all of the mirrors. Whats up with that?
I know I am asking a lot, but I have researched this stuff and I can’t seem to get straight forward answers about anything. Thanks for the help in advance.

Edit – need to google for sdsplit, I thought that sdsplitter didn’t sound right so I went to my /data which is where it wget s to and of course the correct name is sdsplit.
FYI – it is an executable that allows you to partition your sdcard by running sdsplit in your phones terminal emulator. I was amazed at how easy it was. Forget the devs name; but the thread is over at xda, and I definately recommend it.
Most people say you need a class 6 sdcard but dalvik-cache runs perfect on class 2.
When moving /data/app you will need to reboot after creating symlink.
also, not sure what the official procedure is for apps to sdcard;
I just used cp -a; and then rm -r; then ln -s.
Just like moving a cache that has files like the cache to sdcard for maps that’s found on modmygphone.com.
First I moved /data/dalvik-cache
Moved /data/app-private to test. Then /data/app.
I also moved /data/data/com.android.browser.
Everything runs perfect after 1 reboot.
I tried not to mess with /data/data too much simply because it only has about 5mb and because it does have the databases for the system apps.
Mostly though cause I have 69mb free and didn’t really feel the need to push my luck as my phone runs perfect.

Everything is running great, except I cannot get my regular bluetooth headset to work. From searching the previous comments, it looks like I am not alone. When I try to make a call with bluetooth, I hear nothing but silence, and the other person cannot hear anything either. From this point, even if I disable bluetooth, all calls are silent, and it needs a reboot to fix it. Also, the speaker phone has a lot of static noise that the other person can hear.
I’m really loving this release and want to use it, but I don’t know if I can now. First and foremost, I need the basic phone functionality to work. If would greatly appreciate any tips for getting bluetooth working!

Ok, it turns out that the radio was not up-to-date, although I’m almost certain I had applied the update before installing JF 1.5. After reapplying the radio update, my bluetooth seems to be functioning just fine!
To others who mentioned having bluetooth problems: check your baseband version. It should end in 2.22.19.26l. Also, it seems like it was ok that I installed the radio update after JF 1.5.

I updated the radio build when I flashed to 1.5 (after actually, but I don’t think it matters). But I may try re-updating again. It can’t hurt, right? I checked my baseband version, and it already matches the one listed above.
Also, I will test out other headsets tomorrow. Maybe it’s Plantronics?

I just have one question.
What would the problem be, if you had root with rc33 and, after updating to JF ADP 1.5 (with the radio update first), and then lose root?
I can’t get SU. Just a black screen, which times out after so many seconds.
Re-did the update, and still no SU.
Please help.
Thanks.

Today the German Cupcake Update was released:
http://android.clients.google.com/updates/signed-CRB17-from-TMI-RC9-eu.17667e06.zip
Is there any tut to extract the german locales so you can add it to your build?
May 6th, 2009 at 9:39 am
For UK users, this update is fully compatible however beware when adding new numbers as the phone will automatically Americanize them.
To fix this, sync with your gmail and manually edit them by removing the hyphens then wait a while before syncing again.
Or an even better solution is to wait until the 1.5 UK versions finished so you can dodge this annoyance all together
Nice one as usual JF, shame the only thing to work with was so heavily bonded to US structuring.

I was running the official 1.5 from HTC on an ADP1. Everything worked as expected. I installed the JF 1.5 update, and that went well. In testing, I have found that using the touchscreen for input does not always trigger whatever event tells the phone to stay awake. I was browsing through the Gallery when the screen dimmed, then went to sleep. I hit menu to wake it back up, and started moving around again. Same thing. Hitting any button or the trackball still wakes it up properly. Any ideas?
May 7th, 2009 at 8:55 am
@jpatton That’s because this was based on the developer’s build, which does not include the T-Mobile branded stuff. You will just need to wait for the official T-Mobile update to be modified by a developer and released as a new build. That’s what we’re doing, too. We don’t use MyFaves, but we use Amazon.

Plz Help.
I have had a rooted g1 (with a jf v1.43 installed) for quite some time now and had no problem with it. Then I installed the radio image for v1.5 and rebooted. Afterward, I downloaded the JFv1.5 ADP 1.5 to my SD, renamed it to update, did a wipe and installed the update.zip file. However, once I rebooted my device it got stuck on the bootload screen. I hit talk+home+power to reboot again, and then held the camera+power buttons. I noticed that it got to the gray screen for a second and wrote something like “no image” and then returned to the colorful bootload screen.
I’m starting to freak out here.
What do I need to do?

Just one suggestion – in a future release you might want to modify the runme.sh to set -o noatime when mounting the second sd partition. That will greatly reduce flash wear (and improve performance as well).

Thanks for the update, I already update and it seems that since I did it, the battery is getting empty very fast. FYI…
May 11th, 2009 at 2:02 pm
Installed and updated from JFupdater.
Haptic feedback not working, autorotate not functioning on desktop and browser.
WifiTether gets “permission denied”, despite blog post above stating it’s been fixed.
I have a feeling something is wrong with my actual install. Anyone else have/resolve the above issues?
All in all, a fantastic update, despite my indicidual issues.

Awesome! Thanks for the hard work!
I had the RC33 era JF rooted flash (whatever the version was) on a t-mobile G1. The jfupdater app worked great for the radio update but since we don’t get 3G until june the firmware download was too big to dl fromt he app. Over lunch I stopped back to my place, put the update.zip on the sdcard, rebooted with home and power, updated to 1.5, did alt-w to clear out all the data crap and then waited….
And I had to wait a fairly long time before I got past the android screen… longer then I would have expected.
But it worked! Thanks!
May 11th, 2009 at 5:14 pm
Hey JF! Great work as always
I had one question though, the only thing I seem to be missing for some odd reason is Live Folders for the home screen.
I just read about it briefly but don’t seem to have that option in your newest update.
Any reason why??
MichaelSF Reply:
May 15th, 2009 at 1:10 pm
I had the Live Folder when I had the Haykuro version of cupcake too.
But on JF’s version, I see that there is the ability to create a folder and to insert whatever I want into it. Isn’t that the same as the Live Folder concept?
To do this:
On Home Page press screen until “Add to Home Screen” menu/window appears.
One item will be “Folders” click it.
Then click “new folder”
That will put a folder on your home screen.
You can then drag into the folder any program icons you want.
I did not use Live Folder, but isn’t the above how Live Folder worked? If not, excuse my post.

JesusFreke will there be a 1.5 update for the T-Mobile G1 (US), I know the ADP 1.5 can be downloaded but I just want to make sure that there won’t be release for T-Mobile G1 (US) because I much rather wait for the T-Mobile G1 (US) based update than to switch over to ADP 1.5.
May 11th, 2009 at 7:38 pm
Thank you so much! As always, you never disappoint.
May 11th, 2009 at 10:20 pm
I just have one question I know that the ADP 1.5 update works on rooted T-Mobile G1’s. But is there going to be a T-Mobile G1 (US) 1.5 update release because I don’t want to install this and find out on Friday that you came out with a new update for T-Mobile G1 (US). So is there going to be an update for Rooted T-Mobile G1 (US) or is this it no coming?
MichaelSF Reply:
May 15th, 2009 at 12:55 pm
Not sure what you are asking, but I am with T-Mo in San Francisco. I have 3G service.
My understanding is that T-Mo is rolling out OTA Cupcake in waves (as opposed to all at once.) Customers will get the notice on their G1s to download the update.
The cupcake for developer phones is BETTER than the cupcake being provided to consumers. The OS (operating system) has more features, etc.
Jesus F. 1.5 is even better than other cupcake versions, so I recommend it. (And don’t forget to donate, I gave $10).
I had other cupcake versions and I love JF’s version.
A reason to jailbreak (root) the phone is that you will also be able to enjoy other programs, mods and features that people like JF come out with once in awhile. And they also will be improving cupcake, e.g., when flaws are discovered.
IMHO the JF cupcake is way better than anything T-Mo will be sending via OTA.
Bonus Comment: YouTube member AnthonyMoreno24 has the best tutorials on jailbreaking the G1 and installing JF’s cupcake.

If you don’t want to update twice, wait for jf to modify the tmobile version of the 1.5 update. You probably would rather wait for the tmobile apps like myfavs, etc.
Updating will most likely require you to wipe your phone losing everything and having to restore from some backup app for settings, sms, contacts, etc. Doing that twice might not be worth it for you when jf will be making a new release soon.

Boot up holding Home + Power button
Alt – L, then do the key to wipe your cache/data
Now try again. You’re good to go
